Optech Network Solutions Prime Connect 4056s
The Optech Network Solutions Prime Connect 4056s is an industrial serial-to-fiber converter designed to extend RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 communication over fiber-optic networks. It provides reliable electrical isolation between serial equipment and fiber infrastructure while reducing the impact of electromagnetic interference and electrical disturbances. The Prime Connect 4056s supports both multi-mode and single-mode fiber configurations, with the achievable transmission distance determined by the selected optical interface and fiber type. It is suitable for industrial automation, utility communication, SCADA, remote equipment monitoring and other applications where serial communication needs to be extended over longer distances. The converter supports serial communication speeds up to 921.6 kbps and can operate in point-to-point or fiber-ring network configurations, making it suitable for both simple and redundant communication architectures.
